Learn to Sew with Honest Studios!

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your advanced sewing techniques, our classes cater to you. Choose from a diverse selection of our clothing patterns — no boring pillowcases here!

Beginner projects include Apartment elastic waistband pants or shorts, Hali jumpsuit, Cali top & tote bag.

Intermediate projects include Lea top, Penny pants, Sisi skirt, Fergie shirt, Frankie shirt, Lola tunic, Lolita dress.

Each course runs for 5 classes at 2 hours each = 10 hours total.

5 classes total cost: $350 byo machine or $400 including hire of our machines.

All classes run from our store/studio 201 Gertrude St Fitzroy. A reminder email will be sent out with further details. Please email us if you have any questions or require a payment plan.

We recommend a project suited to your skill level. All projects are taken from our current collection, including unisex options. Beginner projects: Hali jumpsuit, Cali top, Apartment pants or shorts, tote bag and more. Intermediate projects: Sisi skirt, Lolita top, Lola dress, Penny pants, Frankie shirt, Fergie Shirt and more.

Sewing Machines

We encourage people to bring their own sewing machine to gain confidence to continue sewing at home. However we do have spare machines if needed.Cost to hire a machine is $10 per class (please select hire sewing machine before check out)
