Learn to Sew with Honest Studios. At Honest Studios, we offer sewing classes designed for all skill levels, empowering you to make, mend and alter your own clothing while combating fast fashion.

 

Sewing Classes for Every Skill Level

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your advanced sewing techniques, our classes cater to you. Choose from a diverse selection of clothing patterns — no boring pillowcases here!

For Beginners Intermediate and Advanced
Start with fun projects like jumpsuits, elastic linen pants, or shorts. Bring your own pattern or select from our extensive range to tackle more challenging designs.

 

Class Schedule and Details

Each course consists of three sessions over three weeks, with classes held weekly:

Tuesday & Wednesday
Evenings		 Wednesday
Mornings
 6:00pm - 8:00pm 11:00am - 1:00pm

 

Pricing:

Bring your own Machine Use one of our Machines
$190 for 3 classes $235 for 3 classes

 

All you need to bring is your fabric and we’ll provide the rest! Detailed information will be emailed upon booking.

 

Location

Classes are held at our store and studio at 201 Gertrude St, Fitzroy.

  • Honest Studios has become a weekly ritual for me. I enrolled under the pretence I would just complete my three sessions, make a garment and be done!

    I have however returned well beyond the 3 sessions, not just because I have so much more to learn in my sewing journey but because I honesty love the evening.

    Being in the presence of Suncana and Tesa is truely bliss (the laughs, the learning and the endless inspiration). I love that each week there are new faces or familiar faces and yet it makes no difference to the vibe of the class, it continuously feels like an evening of sewing amongst friends.
